The True Albino Teacher (TAT) magic mushroom variety is particularly intriguing, as it does not stem from hybridization but rather emerges as an Albino mutation of Golden Teacher, one of the most renowned Cubensis strains. This unique variety was initially discovered by a cultivator known by the name of JikFibs, although little else is known about its origins.
TAT has undergone refinement by several cultivators throughout the years, resulting in a genetically stable strain that consistently exhibits the distinctive feature of vivid-white caps. Even from spore form, TAT reliably showcases this remarkable characteristic. Furthermore, it maintains some of the most desirable qualities inherited from its parent strain (Golden Teacher), such as above-average potency, abundant yield, and resistance to contamination. Spores Lab has further enhanced the potency of our TAT genetics, and this genetic variant now boasts exceptionally rapid colonization.
Online feedback from reputable sources such as Shroomery and various SubReddit communities indicates that the experience induced by consuming TAT is akin to that of Golden Teacher—a serene, introspective, and frequently spiritually profound journey.
Aesthetically, this strain typically gives rise to medium to large-sized mushrooms, featuring robust, dense stems and large pale white caps, often exhibiting marginal splits. Moderate sporulation occurs, with the spores being white in color, thereby distinguishing this strain as a true albino variety rather than a leucistic strain such as the White Teacher.
